BEATE MCLATCHIE, the founder of Bali Yoga & Wellness, is originally from Austria but Asian in her soul and lives in Bali since the age of 14. After obtaining a business degree and other many years in politics, the hospitality industry and real estate, she devoted her life wholeheartedly to yoga. HIROSHI FUNAKOSHI, obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in 1998 and his Masters degree in 2000. He finished two international yoga teacher trainings: Ishta Yoga and Vibrant Living Yoga.

This flowing-water based workout focuses on muscular toning and definition through core-stability work, using state of the art floatation equipment from Italy. While developing strength, flexibility and body awareness, these specific water movements are also very supportive for those with back problems, weak joints, serious injuries, arthritis and anxiety. It is very safe and highly beneficial during pregnancy and postnatal recovery.
CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
A gentle hands-on method of healing that revitalizes life force energy and redirects its course, CranioSacral therapy focuses on releasing accumulated stress and trauma from the central nervous system through balancing and enhancing the functioning of the CranioSacral system, a physiological body system comprised of the membranes and the cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

JOKO TRI. L, is originally from Solo, Java, has studied inner martial arts and energy movements with many different masters and is active in natural healing arts since 15 years. Joko is now based in Bali to practice as a personal healing practitioner, massage therapist and natural treatment trainer with his work focusing on acupressure, reflexology, Reiki, chakra & body rebalancing, energy flow facilitation and traditional herbal medicine. He eventually received a government certificate in 2004.

Qigong is a combination of two ideas: “Qi” means air, breath of life, or vital energy of the body, and “Gong” means the skill of working with, or cultivating, self-discipline, and achievement.
